Summer Landscape Photography Workshop
Ukraine, Carpathian Mountains
On this workshop, we will visit Mount Shpitsy, where we will practice taking pictures of the landscape, because this location allows you to enjoy beautiful sunsets over Mountain Hoverla, and on the other hand, create a composition with the rocky landscape of Mount Shpitsy - it all depends on your imagination.
Summer is one of the most magical periods in the Carpathians, because warm starry nights allow you to create incredible shots of the Milky Way. For this, we will stay at the dome hotel De Vibe in Vorokhta town, where we can comfortably understand the settings of your cameras, which are best suited for astrophotography.
Scene planning and natural light play a big role in landscape photography, so it's important to be in the right place at the right time, arriving early on location and preparing for the shoot.

DAY 1 SATURDAY
The workshop officially begins with a morning meeting in Lviv at 6 a.m. We will need to drive to Vorokhta, where we can have a quick breakfast in the center and get to know each other better. Next, the hike to Mount Shpitsy is waiting for us, it will be necessary to walk 12 km in total. Here we will find a composition and stay until sunset for shooting, after which we will return to Vorokhta and check into the dome hotel De Vibe. After an intense day, comfortable conditions for rest will await us, as well as an incredible view of the mountains with the opportunity to photograph the stars at night on the terrace of each of the domes. Dinner can be ordered in advance with delivery to the rooms.
DAY 2 SUNDAY
In the morning at 10 o'clock we have breakfast, then we will have time to get together to leave our rooms by 12 o'clock. Then we return to Lviv with a stop for dinner. De Vibe also allows you to meet the first rays of the sun or the morning mists, so especially persistent participants can wake up at dawn on their own to take great shots of morning Carpathians. The workshop officially ends on arrival in the city, but if you need any information about accommodation or train bookings, I will be happy to provide it.
Also, this workshop includes all individual online consultations on photo processing that we will take during the trip. For this, we will choose a date and time convenient for everyone, where I will be able to conduct an online lecture on photo post processing, after which you will have time to sort your files and arrange an individual online meeting, where I will be able to help everyone understand how to process their own photo and to create your unforgettable shot from the trip.
