12 days of surreal landscapes, pristine skies and the wild beauty of the Argentine Puna. Journey through a unique geological and biological region where ancient volcanoes, endless salt flats and otherworldly rock formations create landscapes that feel like another planet.
We will explore Cono de Arita, Cusi Cusi Moon Valley, Laguna Carachi Pampa, Campo de Piedra Pómez, Salinas Grandes, Hornocal and Purmamarca — with time for unforgettable sunrises, sunsets and a moonless night beneath the stars.
The Puna is not only about landscapes. Its high-altitude lagoons and deserts are home to flamingos, vicuñas and rheas, offering wonderful opportunities for wildlife photography. Bring your telephoto lens!
A high-altitude road trip. We will travel between 2,500 and 4,000 metres above sea level, exploring the Puna mostly from our 4x4 pickup trucks. The roads themselves are part of the adventure — crossing vast, remote landscapes, colourful deserts and high-altitude passes as we move from one extraordinary location to the next.
There will be very little hiking, making it possible to experience some of the most remote corners of the Puna without long or demanding treks. We will start slowly to give everyone time to acclimatise and enjoy the journey comfortably. Expect a true off-road adventure: long scenic drives, remote locations, changing weather, endless horizons and plenty of opportunities to stop, explore and photograph along the way.

Important note about shared room: if you opted for “shared room” (no extra cost), it might happen that you have to share with a participant of opposite sex (remote, but possible scenario). We will check with each of you if you are fine with this. If one of you is not comfortable, then you will both need to upgrade to a single room (price varies depending on tour).
